He's moving a bit more, but now his heart rate is very erratic, his blood pressure is high, and he's been changed off of CPAP to the full vent. Continue the prayers please.
I woke up this morning at 4 a.m. thinking of Ruthie and began lifting prayers for her and Louie. All I kept thinking as I lay beside my husband listening to him snore, is how much Ruthie would love to be laying next to Louie in their own bed, listening to him snore. Something that is quite frustrating to many wives would be music to Ruthie's ears! Then my mind continued to wander as I continued to pray. I kept thinking of the irritation a lot of wives feel when they have to pick up their husband's dirty laundry or wipe up coffee drips from the counter or listen to the TV blaring as a sports game is being watched. How Ruthie would love to have those 'irritations' back in her life! Maybe God was reminding me of the great blessing I have in my husband. Maybe God was wanting me to remind other women to look at the great blessing they have in their husbands. We know we don't have to ask Ruthie what she wants because we already know the answer. She would give anything to have her Louie back home - snoring, dirty laundry and all! So, I think of Ruthie...then I look at my husband and say a silent prayer of thanks for him. Ruthie, please know our prayers continue for you, Louie and all of your family. "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor My convenant of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you. " Isaiah 54:10
