Thank you for keeping us informed through this blogsite. There are many of us that are praying for Louis & Greg and appreciate you sharing your journey.
Just know that the Turner Family is praying for the Buzek and Schmidt families.
Last Friday at the blood drive in the Wal-Mart parking lot all of you would have been smiling. I got there at about 1:00 p.m. The blood mobile was full of people and there was a line of about 20-30 people standing outside. As people drove by in the parking lot they were commenting . . . how much longer will they be here . . . don’t let them leave, I’ll be right back . . . I just love that Ruthie & Louis . . . and many, many more kind comments and gestures that show how much you are loved and being prayed for back here in El Campo.
We love you and are continuing our prayers! Tommy, Carol, & Justin
I was listening to a song this afternoon on 89.3 KSBJ, "Everlasting God", by Chris Tomlin, and thought about Louis and lifted him up in prayer once again. This song is about a wonderful promise in Isaiah 40:28-31, "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Praying that God will continually renew Louis' strength and grant him a "short road" to recovery so that he soon will walk and run again. Praying also that God will give Greg strength and peace. Our God is a great and mighty God. Is anything too difficult for the Everlasting God who created the ends of the earth? God Bless. I'm Greg's sister-in-law, Lori (Cindy's sister).
