Update

Surgery has been postponed. It is still on the schedule to happen today but probably not until the afternoon. We will continue to post updates.

    You are all in our hearts and prayers.

    In Just Enough Light for the Step I'm on by Stormie Omartian I opened the book to the following:

    Lord, while there are many things that can happen in life that are frightening or overwhelming. I know that Your power is greater than all of them. Even when what I experience is too much for me, it is never too much for You. Anything I face is nothing alongise Your ability to redeem it. Lord, I lift to You the things that frighten me most and ask that You would protect me and the people I love from them. Specifically, I bring before You the need for healing for Louis, comfort for his family and comfort for his dear friend Greg and ask that You would work Your redemption in it.

    Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:1-2

    May God's loving hands comfort you, bring you peace and bring healing to Louis.
